The Engineering and Innovation Center is an integral part of COBRA & SMS and is designed to be a service tool for our academic partners and local and national companies who require a high level of expertise in service and research. It pools together the equipment and recognized skills of the COBRA & SMS laboratories of the Madrillet, Mont Saint Aignan (Rouen) and Evreux sites. C2I Orga relies on highly qualified staff with a quality approach to service to satisfy our partners.
The five main themes at the heart of our research:
Energy and materials
Examples of collaborations:
Research collaboration contracts
Opportunities for CIFRE PhDs and sponsorship
Technology transfer: development of specific analytical methods, development in the laboratory and transfer, on-site training.
Director of C2I Orga
The COBRA laboratory is a mixed research unit (UMR-6014) combining the CNRS, INSA Rouen and the University of Rouen. It is located at the IRCOF (Institute of Fine Organic Chemistry Research) at the University of Rouen, in Mont Saint Aignan. One of the major assets of the laboratory is the fact that it develops its research activities in both Organic Synthesis and Analytical Chemistry. It has exceptional technical support facilities (C2I Orga) with state of the art equipment for the latest innovative methods. COBRA has recognized expertise in heterocyclic, organometallic, fluorine, bioorganic and analytical chemistry. The research touches the domains of pharmaceuticals, medical imaging, cosmetics, food processing, the environment and energy. Our Missions : Discover new concepts, innovative methodologies of synthesis and new structures, analyze structures and mechanisms, develop the interaction between chemistry and biosciences, contribute to the transfer of expertise to industry, train quality professionals through research.
