Niko Hildebrandt has been awarded one of the three 2023 Advances in Measurement Science Lectureship Awards from the American Chemical Society

The Advances in Measurement Science Lectureship Award (https://axial.acs.org/analytical-chemistry/2023-advances-in-measurement-science-lectureship-award-winners) is co-sponsored by the journals Analytical Chemistry, ACS Sensors, Journal of Proteome Research, JASMS, ACS Measurement Science Au, and the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry, and recognizes individuals who have made a recent and major impact in the field from three major geographic regions: the Americas; Europe, The Middle East, and Africa; and Asia-Pacific. Niko Hildebrandt presents the region Europe, The Middle East, and Africa and he received the award for his work on FRET spectroscopy and microscopy for biosensing.

The other two recipients of the Award are Julia Laskin (Purdue University) for the Americas and Jian-Feng Li (Xiamen University) for Asia-Pacific. The Awards will be presented at a dedicated symposium during the ACS Fall meeting in San Francisco in August 2023, where the recipients will receive an award plaque and a $1,500 honorarium.
