Anne HARRISON-MARCHAND

Associate Professor

Exploratory methodology for organic and organometallic synthesis team

BIOGRAPHY

I received my doctorate degree from the University of Nantes (1995), then I occupied postdoctoral positions at the University of Wales, Swansea, UK (Prof Pelter, 1996-97), and at the Imperial College of London, UK (Prof Barrett, 1998). After one year working on an industrial project (UCB Pharma, 1999) in Orléans, I was recruited (September 1999) as an Assistant Professor, then Associate (HDR in 2008) Professor at the University of Rouen. My expertise is in two distinct areas that are related to asymmetric heterocycloadditions and enantioselective nucleophilic additions of organo(bi)metallic reactants. The latter topic is currently my main focus and consists of both exploring new synthetic methodologies with new organo(bi)metallics reactants and understanding their stereochemical outcomes thanks to analyses of the species directly in solution (NMR).
