BIOGRAPHY

Abdelhakim Elomri received his PhD in Pharmacognosy at the University René Descartes Paris-V in 1995 under the supervision of Pr. François Tillequin and Pr. Michel Koch. He obtained the post of lecturer in pharmacognosy at the pharmacy department at the University of Rouen in 1996. He obtained a postdoctoral position at the University of California at San Francisco (USA) with Pr. Bessel Montgomery in 2000. He joined CNRS-COBRA Laboratory in Rouen in 2005. He obtained the Ability to Conduct Researches (HDR) in 2006 and he was appointed professor of pharmacognosy at the University of Rouen in 2018. His current research area in the analysis and modelling team within the mass spectrometry and separation sciences group focuses on the study of biodiversity in secondary metabolites (plants, yeasts..), the development of new innovative methods of analysis by mass spectrometry and interpretation based on new tools (molecular networking, profiling…) to provide original bioactive molecules..
