BIOGRAPHY

I obtained my Ph.D from the University of Paris VI (UPMC) in September 1996. Assistant professor since 1997, I perform my research in COBRA laboratory since 2011 at the Institute of Technology of Evreux. I obtained my HDR in 2011 and I supervised 9 doctoral thesis (one in progress). My research is focused on the development of solvent-minimized sample preparation and separation science (HPLC, GC/MS). Between 1997 and 2002, I worked on water pollution by surfactants. Then, I moved to the analysis of ultra-traces of pollutants in exhaust gases and optimization of sample preparation methodologies (microwave-assisted extraction, pressurized liquid extraction, supercritical fluid extraction, thermodesorption) through chemometric approaches. It led me to the analysis of organic contaminants in soils/sediments and water (PAHs, PCBs, PBDEs, pesticides…), as to their degradation products. Since 2009, I have been working on remediation technologies to remove pollutants from soils/sediments: enhanced biodegradation by microorganisms/fungi, phytoremediation, electrokinetic remediation.
