BIOGRAPHY

Sylvain Oudeyer received his PhD (UPEC) in 2003 working on the design of new chemical and electrochemical methodologies for the synthesis of small rings. Then, he joined the Dr J. Royer’s group (Paris Descartes University) for a post-doctoral fellowship on the Yb(OTf)3-catalyzed vinylogous Mannich reaction. In 2004, he held a post doctoral position where he worked on the asymmetric synthesis of biological active molecules (Pr H.-P. Husson, Paris Descartes University). After a post-doctoral position with Roquette frères as industrial partner at COBRA laboratory, he was appointed, in 2006, as an assistant professor in the same laboratory working in the field of asymmetric organocatalysis mainly by using ion pairing catalysis and PTC. In 2015, he obtained his habilitation (HDR diploma, associate professor) at the university of Rouen Normandy.
