Heterocycles team

BIOGRAPHY

After graduation from the Faculty of Pharmacy (Paris), Thomas Lecourt prepared his PhD in Organic Chemistry under the supervision of Pierre Sinaÿ et Matthieu Sollogoub at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris (2000-2003) on the Regioselective Debenzylation of Cyclodextrins and its Application to the Synthesis of Cyclic Oligomers. He then pursued as a post-doctoral associate under the guidance of Varinder K. Aggarwal (University of Bristol, UK) before joining the team of Laurent Micouin (UMR 8638 puis 8602 CNRS – Université de Paris) as an assistant professor in 2005. Since september 2013, he is Professor in Organic Chemistry at INSA de Rouen Normandie, and group leader in the Heterocyclic team of the COBRA laboratory (UMR 6014 CNRS). His research interests are in field of Glycochemistry, Chemistry of Diazo Compounds and Transition Metal Catalysis.
