Chemistry bio-organic team

BIOGRAPHY

CNRS researcher at COBRA Laboratory in Rouen, France, Xavier FRANCK received his PhD in organic chemistry at the Paris Saclay University in 1996 under the supervision of Dr. Bruno Figadère. After postdoctoral studies at Strathclyde University (Glasgow, UK) with Prof. John Murphy (1997) and at the ICSN Gif/Yvette with Pr. Sam Zard (1998), he obtained a permanent CNRS position at the Univerity Paris Saclay. In 2005, he moved to Rouen
Normandy University where he now conducts research in Bio-Organic Chemistry, including total synthesis, development of new dyes and
fluorescent probes for proteomics, chemical biology and cell imaging.
